Dan Baker MBA ’23, CFRE, Senior Director of Development
Dan joined the Alumni & Development Team at ÐÇ¿ÕÎÞÏÞ´«Ã½ University on January 1, 2020. In his role, Dan works closely with the Alumni & Development staff, alumni, ÐÇ¿ÕÎÞÏÞ´«Ã½ faculty, and friends of ÐÇ¿ÕÎÞÏÞ´«Ã½ to advance the philanthropic goals of the university.
Dan’s fundraising background is well rounded and diverse, spanning over 25 years of experience having previously worked in the health care and human services sectors of fundraising.
A native of Iowa, he earned his undergraduate degree from Western Illinois in 1993 and his MBA from ÐÇ¿ÕÎÞÏÞ´«Ã½ University in 2023. Dan is an active Rotarian and serves on the BSA Prairielands Council Board. One son, Grant, is an admissions counselor and assistant men’s basketball coach at ÐÇ¿ÕÎÞÏÞ´«Ã½, and another son, Cameron, is a senior at ÐÇ¿ÕÎÞÏÞ´«Ã½. He enjoys attending all levels ofsporting events especially professional baseball, college basketball and football, and NTT Indy Car Racing. He resides in Savoy, Illinois, with his wife, Beverley.
