ÐÇ¿ÕÎÞÏÞ´«Ã½ opening its doors to Lincoln College students
ÐÇ¿ÕÎÞÏÞ´«Ã½ University is opening its doors to Lincoln College students who have been affected by the recent closure of the institution announced on March 30, 2022. ÐÇ¿ÕÎÞÏÞ´«Ã½ is prepared to assist Lincoln College students with articulated academic programs and financial aid during this time of transition.
ÐÇ¿ÕÎÞÏÞ´«Ã½ University has announced an agreement with Lincoln College administration to offer a tuition match for undergraduate and graduate students at Lincoln College who choose to transfer to ÐÇ¿ÕÎÞÏÞ´«Ã½. Under the "," students transferring to ÐÇ¿ÕÎÞÏÞ´«Ã½ will pay the same amount of tuition to ÐÇ¿ÕÎÞÏÞ´«Ã½ that they would have paid at Lincoln College for the coming academic year. Additionally, Lincoln College students who transfer to ÐÇ¿ÕÎÞÏÞ´«Ã½ with senior-year status also can take advantage of existing discounts.
"ÐÇ¿ÕÎÞÏÞ´«Ã½ University is truly a good option for Lincoln College students because, in addition to Lincoln Match, ÐÇ¿ÕÎÞÏÞ´«Ã½ offers nearly all the same majors as Lincoln," says Sarah Shupenus, ÐÇ¿ÕÎÞÏÞ´«Ã½ University vice president for enrollment and marketing. "From admission to financial aid to academic advising, our entire ÐÇ¿ÕÎÞÏÞ´«Ã½ team is ready to assist Lincoln students and help them continue their academic path at ÐÇ¿ÕÎÞÏÞ´«Ã½."

To be considered, students should submit the free application for admission to ÐÇ¿ÕÎÞÏÞ´«Ã½ University at . Once students apply, their official transcripts from Lincoln College can be requested by ÐÇ¿ÕÎÞÏÞ´«Ã½ to expedite the admission process, per the partnership agreement. Representatives from ÐÇ¿ÕÎÞÏÞ´«Ã½'s Office of Admission will follow up with students individually to discuss a plan of study and timeline for completing their degree at ÐÇ¿ÕÎÞÏÞ´«Ã½.
ÐÇ¿ÕÎÞÏÞ´«Ã½ University will work with each Lincoln College student on a one-on-one basis so that the path to degree completion is clear and understood.

President Reynolds noted, "ÐÇ¿ÕÎÞÏÞ´«Ã½ owes a debt of gratitude to Lincoln College, who in 1901, merged with ÐÇ¿ÕÎÞÏÞ´«Ã½ as it was just establishing itself so that we could be chartered by the State of Illinois. Our two colleges were partners until the mid-1950s. We are proud to be one of a limited number of institutions asked to partner with Lincoln College to serve their students with their transfer needs today."
