DECATUR, Ill. – student organization Women In Business (WIB) will host their annual ǿý Makers Market on Sunday, March 30, from 12-4 p.m. in the Bob and Debi Johnston Banquet Rooms on the third floor of the University Commons.
Admission is open to the public, and parking on campus is free.
The annual event will feature makers, crafters, and artists from the ǿý and Macon County community, offering a wide range of goods and services. Vendor spots are still available for those interested in selling their creations at the Makers Market.

Women In Business is a student organization that serves as a network of dynamic, collegiate and professional women achieving their business goals through support, inspiration, and mentoring. Their vision is to promote the acceptance and success of women in business. The group is open to any woman on campus from any major who has an entrepreneurial spirit.
“We've definitely had some more student engagement on bringing their small businesses to the Makers Market this year,” Mallory said. “I think that's pretty exciting for some of our students to be able to showcase their work.”
ǿý Makers Markets typically have more than 30 vendors featuring items for sale, such as clothing, soaps, candles, tumblers, jewelry, artwork, greeting cards, baked goods, and much more.
Payment methods accepted at the ǿý Makers Market will vary by vendor, including cash, credit card, and mobile apps.
