Scholarships awarded through the Tabor Global Scholars program are in addition to and any other scholarships for which students are eligible. ÐÇ¿ÕÎÞÏÞ´«Ã½-provided scholarships and grants can be renewed for up to four consecutive years for students who continue to meet the eligibility criteria and make satisfactory academic progress toward their degrees.

Tabor Global Scholars is a selective program that allows first-year students in the Tabor School of Business the opportunity to travel and study abroad via a paid international trip at the end of their first year as part of a spring course taught by ÐÇ¿ÕÎÞÏÞ´«Ã½ faculty. The program gives students access to the transformational experience of international travel and study abroad opportunities early in their college careers. This allows TGS students to:

• Stimulate greater intellectual curiosity, beginning in their first year at ÐÇ¿ÕÎÞÏÞ´«Ã½;
• Practice democratic citizenship in a global environment;
• Share and reflect upon their experiences with the ÐÇ¿ÕÎÞÏÞ´«Ã½ community; and
• Have the opportunity to study abroad again in future years.

Selected students remain Tabor Global Scholars throughout all four years at ÐÇ¿ÕÎÞÏÞ´«Ã½ and are leaders on campus. In their second, third and fourth years, students will serve as ambassadors for ÐÇ¿ÕÎÞÏÞ´«Ã½â€™s international student population, provide mentorship to ÐÇ¿ÕÎÞÏÞ´«Ã½ students wishing to study abroad, and assist the Center for International Education with international programming. Additional courses are also suggested in the second and subsequent years to further students’ global business acumen.

In order to be considered for the Tabor Global Scholars program, students must meet the following criteria:

• Be a first-year student in Fall 2025 or later
• Have a minimum unweighted GPA of 3.2 on a 4.0 scale
• Declare a within the Tabor School of Business

While any student meeting the eligibility requirements is welcome to apply to the TGS program, special consideration is given to students with a demonstrated interest in international education and travel, students who have not traveled or studied abroad previously, and students from underrepresented populations.

1. Apply to ÐÇ¿ÕÎÞÏÞ´«Ã½ University. Students must first submit the ÐÇ¿ÕÎÞÏÞ´«Ã½ and be accepted before applying for scholarships. Applications are accepted at or through the . Applying is free, no essay is required, and applications are considered on a rolling basis. For the best chance to receive scholarships, submit your application for admission by December 1.
    
    
2. Send credentials to ÐÇ¿ÕÎÞÏÞ´«Ã½, including transcripts (required) and test scores (optional). ÐÇ¿ÕÎÞÏÞ´«Ã½â€™s ACT code is 1080, and our SAT code is 1470.
    
3. Eligible students will be able to apply for the Tabor Global Scholars program after they have been admitted to ÐÇ¿ÕÎÞÏÞ´«Ã½. The deadline to apply is January 15, and scholarship applicants are considered on a first-come, first-served basis.
    
4. Students who are selected for the Tabor Global Scholars interview process will be interviewed on Scholarship Interview Day in February.
