Performance Learning
Performance Learning puts students in scenarios with real risk and reward. Our Accounting students do the work of their future career each semester — developing budgets, assessing financial risks and controls, preparing individual and corporate tax returns, using financial databases to inform decision-making, and navigating professional, ethical and regulatory issues. In their junior year, our majors work with VITA, a tax preparation service for qualified households, and as seniors they perform an audit for a local nonprofit organization.
